• watching McLeod’s daughters and the whole Claire Alex Tess Nick quad is fascinating to me
• Alex/Tess + Nick/Claire in s1 was a 10/10 choice because it was equally amusing and befuddling – especially when they gave all the emotional beats to Alex/Claire + Nick/Tess
• Nick and Tess had a stare down the moment they met eyes?! the attraction was there from the get go, plus he understood her way better than Alex
• When Tess was having her lil breakdown over the birthday cards Alex literally peaced out and didn’t even try to deal with it 🤣 but he was always there for Claire if she let him
• Nick/Claire were a delightful combo of low key jealously vibes + old friends who know each other well + the dynastic plan ‘why not’ = being with each other is… easy in a sense
• anyways those s1 pairings were so clearly not the end game that is was super fun watching them play out

can confirm seasons 1-4 of mcleod’s daughters is definitely worth a watch
